Have you ever wanted to tackle an electrical project yourself, but stopped because you weren’t sure what you needed to know before you started?
Every time we ask the Handy Women community what you want to learn, electrical rises straight to the top. So we’ve been building something new:
This isn't just about showing you how to complete a project. We want to help you understand your home's electrical system, approach electrical DIY safely, recognize what you're looking at, and know when a project is within your comfort zone - or when it's time to call a licensed electrician.
But before we finalize the course, we need your help.
• What do you wish someone had explained before you try electrical DIY?
• What makes electrical feel intimidating or confusing?
• What would make you feel more confident before starting a project?
• What do you want to understand, even if you don't know the right question to ask yet?
We created a quick interest survey so YOU can help shape what goes into B4U DIY: Electrical 101. Your answers will directly help us decide what to teach, what questions to answer, and what women want to feel confident about before they DIY electrical.

You don't need any electrical experience to take the survey. In fact, if you don't even know where you'd begin, we especially want to hear from you.
We're planning our first B4U DIY: Electrical 101 group for September 26, 2026, and the women helping us shape it now will be the first to hear what's coming.
